Here are some simple ways to spice up the Tater Dave’s Potato Bread Mix
Rosemary Potato Bread
Add 2 T. dried rosemary to the mix before adding liquid. Prepare as directed on package.
Cinnamon Raisin Bread
Combine ½ c. water with ½ c. sugar, ½ T. ground cinnamon and 1/8 t. ground cloves in sauce pan and heat until sugar dissolves. Stir in 4 oz. raisins (about 1 c.) to sugar syrup and soak for 15-30 minutes. Add raisin mixture to bread mix and reduce liquid by ¼ c. for the mix. Prepare as directed on package.
Sundried Tomato Herb Bread
Chop 4 oz. sundried tomatoes in small pieces and combine with ½ c. hot water. Add up to 2 T. of favorite dried herb (basil, rosemary, oregano, etc.) or combination of herbs. Soak sundried tomatoes and herbs in water for 15-30 minutes. Add tomato mixture to bread mix and reduce liquid by ¼ c. for the mix. Prepare as directed on package.
Stollen or Fruit Bread
Combine ½ c. water with ½ c. sugar in sauce pan and heat until sugar dissolves. Weigh mixture of favorite dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, cherries, apricots, etc) up to 4 oz. Be sure to cut larger dried fruits such as cherries and apricots into smaller pieces in similar size of raisins or cranberries. Stir dried fruit into sugar syrup and soak for 15-30 minutes. Add fruit mixture to bread mix and reduce liquid by ¼ c. for the mix. Prepare as directed on package.

Do you ship your mix? I have a friend in PA who is dying for some of your rosemary potato bread.
Hmm… this is a good question. I’ve never shipped my mix before, but I will look into it. Visit Mrs. Tater at the SOJ Market or me at the Monument Market and we should have more information about shipping mixes for you.
